5:30-7:30PM

Blights Out Co-Founding Cultural Activist Imani Jacqueline Brown in conversation with artists Jackie Sumell, Brandan 'BMike" Odums and VOICE.

Panel discussion and participatory demonstration with local artists, followed by a gallery opening featuring artistic work done by young people in response to Richard Ross’ photography, whose exhibit “Juveniles (In)justice” will be on display. The high school students’ art projects will be based on the question, “what could a world without prisons look like?”, and will be incorporated, along with UNO students’ projects, into a national traveling exhibit on the history of mass incarceration.
